
Wyldepaw - Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, products and interactions with Wyldepaw. By booking training, purchasing items or engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. General
1.1 Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Wyldepaw services, including group classes, one‑to‑one training, behaviour support, workshops, online consultations,
nutrition services and product sales.
1.2 Training Philosophy
Wyldepaw uses only force‑free, welfare‑based training methods. Aversive tools or techniques are strictly prohibited, including but not limited to: prong collars, choke chains, slip leads used as corrections, e‑collars, spray bottles, physical corrections, intimidation or punishment‑based methods.
Clients using such tools will be offered alternatives. Continued use may result in the session being terminated without refund.
1.3 Definitions
“Client” refers to the dog’s owner or handler attending training.
“Dog” refers to the animal participating in training.
2. Booking & Payment
2.1 Payment
All courses, packages and one‑to‑one sessions must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
2.2 Confirmation
A confirmation email will be sent upon booking, including details of location, equipment and preparation.
2.3 Age Requirements
Clients must be 18 or older to book services. Minors may attend sessions only with a responsible adult present.
3. Cancellations, Refunds & Satisfaction Guarantee
3.1 Comfort & Compatibility Guarantee
Wyldepaw wants both dog and owner to feel comfortable with their trainer.
If at any point you feel the training is not the right fit, you may cancel your remaining sessions with one week’s notice.
All unused sessions will be refunded in full.
Used sessions are non‑refundable.
3.2 Course Packages – Before Start Date
Clients may cancel a course package with one week’s notice prior to the start date for a full refund.
3.3 One‑to‑One Sessions
A minimum of three days’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a one‑to‑one session. Sessions cancelled with less than three days’ notice are non‑refundable.
3.4 No‑Shows
No refunds are issued for no‑shows. Rescheduling may be offered at the trainer’s discretion.
3.5 Wyldepaw‑Initiated Cancellations
If Wyldepaw cancels a course, workshop or one‑to‑one session before it begins and no suitable alternative can be agreed, a full refund will be issued.
If a single class within a multi‑session course is cancelled and no alternative can be agreed, a pro‑rata refund for that class will be issued.
3.6 Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds outside the above conditions may be considered in exceptional circumstances at Wyldepaw’s discretion.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Punctuality
Clients must arrive on time. Sessions cannot be extended due to late arrival.
4.2 Equipment Requirements
Dogs must arrive wearing a secure, well‑fitted collar or harness and a standard lead.
No extendable leads in classes.
Clients must ensure equipment is safe and in good condition.
4.3 Children at Sessions
Children are welcome only if supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Wyldepaw may ask children to step back from certain exercises for safety.
4.4 Dog Health & Vaccinations
Dogs must be healthy and fit to participate.
Clients must disclose any medical conditions, medications or mobility issues.
While vaccinations are not mandatory, clients should be aware that sessions may involve interaction with other dogs.
4.5 Bitches in Season
Bitches in heat cannot attend group classes or outdoor training sessions in public. One‑to‑one sessions may be rescheduled.
5. Behaviour & Safety
5.1 Behaviour Disclosure
Clients must inform Wyldepaw of any history of aggression, reactivity, bites, fear issues or behavioural concerns.
Failure to disclose may result in termination of services without refund.
5.2 Client Responsibility
Clients remain responsible for their dog’s behaviour at all times, including during training, in public spaces and at home.
5.3 Right to Refuse Service
Wyldepaw reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:
- a dog poses a safety risk
- a client behaves abusively
- a client repeatedly ignores guidance
- training conditions become unsafe
No refund will be issued for sessions already completed.
5.4 Weather Policy
Outdoor sessions may be postponed in extreme weather (heat, storms, ice, heavy rain).
Wyldepaw will determine whether conditions are safe.
Rescheduling will be offered; refunds will not be issued for weather‑related postponements.
6. Online Training
6.1 Safety Disclaimer
For online sessions, Wyldepaw cannot physically assess the environment.
Clients are responsible for ensuring safety during remote training.
7. Emergencies
7.1 Emergency Protocol
In an emergency during a session, all participants must follow the trainer’s instructions.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1 Communication
Concerns or disputes should be raised directly with Wyldepaw. We aim to resolve issues professionally and constructively.
8.2 Resolution Options
Possible resolutions may include rescheduling, additional resources or a discussion to address concerns.
9. Liability
9.1 Waiver
Clients acknowledge that dog training involves inherent unpredictability.
By participating, clients agree not to hold Wyldepaw liable for injuries, damages or losses occurring during or as a result of training, except where caused by negligence.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Training Materials
All questionnaires, handouts, videos, written materials and training plans remain the intellectual property of Wyldepaw.
They may not be copied, shared or redistributed without permission.
11. Photography & Promotional Use
11.1 Photography
Wyldepaw may take photos or videos during sessions, classes or events.
11.2 Usage
These may be used for promotional purposes, including social media, website content and marketing materials.
11.3 Opt‑Out
Clients who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must inform Wyldepaw at the start of their session or course.
12. Data Protection (GDPR)
12.1 Data Use
Wyldepaw collects only the information necessary to provide services (e.g., contact details, dog information).
12.2 Storage
Data is stored securely and never sold or shared with third parties.
12.3 Client Rights
Clients may request access to or deletion of their data at any time.
13. Product Sales, Returns & Engraving
13.1 Handmade Items – Returns
Handmade items may be returned for a full refund if:
- unused
- in original condition
- returned within 14 days of delivery
Return postage is the responsibility of the purchaser.
13.2 Engraved / Personalised Items
A digital mock‑up will be provided for approval before production.
Once approved:
- spelling, formatting or design errors are the purchaser’s responsibility
- refunds will only be issued if the final product differs from the approved mock‑up
13.3 Damaged Items on Arrival
If an item arrives damaged, clients must notify Wyldepaw within 48 hours with photos.
A replacement or refund will be arranged.
Wyldepaw is not responsible for courier delays.
13.4 Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but may vary due to courier services.
14. Dangerous Dogs Act
14.1 Restricted Breeds
Wyldepaw’s insurance does not cover dogs prohibited under the UK Dangerous Dogs Act.
These dogs cannot be accepted for training.
15. Nutrition Services & Product Disclaimer
15.1 General Nutrition Disclaimer
Wyldepaw provides nutrition consultations, diet plans and related information for educational and welfare‑support purposes only. Nutrition guidance is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis, treatment or medical advice.
15.2 Veterinary Responsibility
Clients acknowledge and agree that:
- nutrition advice does not replace veterinary care
- any concerns about a dog’s health must be discussed with a qualified veterinarian
- Wyldepaw may recommend veterinary assessment before or during a nutrition plan
15.3 E‑Commerce & Product Use Disclaimer
Our website and any nutrition‑related products are designed for e‑commerce and informational purposes only.
By purchasing or using any nutrition‑related product or service, you acknowledge and agree that:
(a) you will carefully read all information, instructions and safety guidance provided on packaging, inserts or product descriptions prior to use
(b) you are competent to use the product safely and appropriately
(c) you will ensure you have selected the correct product for your dog’s needs
(d) all information you provide to Wyldepaw (including health history, allergies, diet and behaviour) is truthful and accurate
(e) you will consult your veterinarian if you have any concerns about your dog’s health or the suitability of a product
15.4 Client Responsibility for Health Disclosure
Clients must disclose any known medical conditions, allergies, intolerances, medications or veterinary diagnoses relevant to nutrition.
Wyldepaw is not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from withheld or inaccurate information.
15.5 Limitations of Nutrition Advice
Nutrition plans are based on the information provided by the client at the time of consultation.
Wyldepaw cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as individual dogs may respond differently to dietary changes.
15.6 Emergency Situations
If a dog shows signs of illness, allergic reaction or distress during a diet transition or after using a product, clients must seek immediate veterinary attention.
