Meet The Founder

After many years working in fast‑paced hospitality operations, I made the decision to follow the path that had always felt most meaningful to me: working with dogs. My background in hospitality shaped far more than my work ethic — it taught me how to deliver exceptional service, anticipate needs before they arise, communicate clearly under pressure and create calm, positive experiences for every individual I work with. These skills now form the foundation of Wyldepaw, where the wellbeing, comfort and individuality of each dog — and the experience of their guardians — are at the heart of everything I do.
I’m a fully qualified trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and hold multiple Open College Network Level 3 accreditations, including Principles of Dog Training and Behaviour, Learning, Motivation & Reinforcement, and Canine First Aid. I have also completed the professional certification with the Modern Dog Walkers Association. These qualifications required rigorous study, practical assessment and peer evaluation across a wide range of behavioural and training topics. As an IMDT member, my learning doesn’t stop once I qualify — I’m required to complete ongoing professional development every year to ensure my knowledge remains current, ethical and evidence‑based.
Continuing education is a core value for me. I am currently studying two advanced diplomas: one in Canine Health and Nutrition, and another in Canine Nutrigenomics, allowing me to expand my services and support dogs more holistically.
Alongside my professional work, I share my life with two dogs of my own: Flint, a White Swiss Shepherd, and Willow, a German Shepherd–Bearded Collie cross. They are daily reminders of why I do what I do — each with their own personalities, needs and quirks that continually deepen my understanding of the human–dog relationship.
Inclusivity is central to the way I work. As someone who understands the importance of feeling seen and respected, I make sure my training approach is accessible and welcoming to people from all backgrounds, identities and learning styles. Every dog is an individual, and so is every guardian — and I tailor my support to honour both. Through calm, evidence‑based guidance, my goal is to help dogs feel secure and confident while giving owners the tools to build relationships rooted in trust, understanding and mutual respect.
