Our 12‑week Puppy Training & Support Programme is designed to give new owners the structure, guidance and confidence needed to raise a calm, resilient and well‑mannered young dog. These early months shape everything that follows, and we work closely with you to build strong foundations that will support your puppy as they grow into adolescence at around six months old.

Throughout the programme, we cover all the essentials of early home life, including toilet training, sleep routines, being left alone, and developing general life skills. We help you create a supportive home environment, choose appropriate enrichment, and understand what your puppy needs to feel safe and settled. We also guide you through effective, welfare‑focused socialisation and help you navigate any “puppy problems” as they arise, such as mouthing, chewing, over‑arousal or early behaviour concerns.

Alongside this, we introduce the core obedience skills that every young dog needs — such as recall, loose‑lead walking, settling on cue, and polite greetings — and we build these gradually so your puppy learns to listen and respond even in distracting environments. For owners who enjoy showing off their puppy’s progress, we also incorporate fun trick‑training elements. These light‑hearted exercises build confidence, improve communication, and give you something to proudly demonstrate to friends and family while strengthening your bond.

The programme begins with a comprehensive assessment of your needs, supported by a detailed questionnaire that allows us to design a tailored training plan.

This is followed by an initial home visit or pre‑puppy visit, usually lasting one to two hours depending on what you require.

You then receive a bespoke 12‑week plan created specifically for you and your puppy.

Each week includes a one‑to‑one training session of around an hour, along with a weekly Zoom catch‑up to refine techniques, review progress and adjust the plan where needed. When your puppy is old enough, we also provide individual training walks with you both out in real‑world environments to build confidence and practical skills.

Throughout the entire 12 weeks, you have unlimited access to support via email, phone or WhatsApp — we’re here for you and your puppy whenever you need advice or reassurance. The programme is flexible, allowing us to address any behaviour issues or ad‑hoc training needs as they arise.

As a thank‑you, the programme includes a complimentary set of custom‑engraved dog tags, along with a handmade leather collar and lead created especially for your puppy.

The collar is provided at the end of the programme once their growth has begun to slow.
