Our 4‑week Start Right Puppy Course is designed for those crucial first weeks when every moment truly counts.

From the day you bring your puppy home, their early experiences shape their confidence, behaviour and long‑term happiness.

This short, focused programme gives you the structure and support you need to make the most of your puppy’s critical development period.

This course is ideal for very young puppies who may not yet be fully vaccinated or ready to explore the outside world.

We provide home visits to help you and your puppy get off to the best possible start, guiding you through the basics

and laying the foundations for essential skills such as recall, sit, down and calm behaviour around the home.

We also help you understand how to introduce new sights, sounds and experiences safely and positively,

ensuring your puppy receives the correct socialisation during this vital window.

Careful, consistent socialisation is one of the single most important investments you can make in your dog’s future.

We design a personalised socialisation plan tailored to your puppy’s age, temperament and environment,

helping you raise a happy, well‑rounded and confident companion.

Alongside this, we support you through the common early challenges new owners face, including

toilet training, mouthing, play biting, chewing and settling at night.

Throughout the course, we also introduce the key behaviours every puppy should begin learning early on —

coming when called, enjoying the company of other dogs, not jumping up at visitors, walking nicely on a lead,

staying when asked and developing good early manners.

 

We’re there to offer advice, reassurance and follow‑up support as any issues arise, ensuring you feel confident and prepared at every step.
